Febi wins junior tennis meet

JAKARTA (JP): Febi Widhiyanto and Frederika Girsang won the under-18 tennis tournament held in the Danamon Tennis Center in Kemayoran, North Jakarta, on Sunday.

Febi beat Djanuar Radjab 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 and Girsang routed Nuraini Batubara 6-0, 6-1 in the finals.

In the boys doubles, the winners were Febi and Hendri. They beat Mario Ronaldo and Jefry Tri Handriansyah 6-3, 6-1. In the girls doubles, Lianasari Batubara and Nuraini Batubara defeated Rika Lukas and Frederika Girsang 6-0, 6-4. (arf)
