Fare cuts for night flight

JAKARTA (JP): Mandala Airlines is offering fare discounts of
20 to 25 percent for passengers for its night flight services
from Jakarta to Semarang.

"We hope the discount will encourage travellers to use our
night flight service which at present performs rather poorly with
50-60 percent load factor," Mandala's manager in Semarang Susilo
Soetjipto was quoted by the Antara as saying yesterday.

He added that travellers might not have known that the
Semarang airport of A. Yani has been adequately equipped to
handle night flights. (vin)
