Faber-Castell participated in the 2026 Student Festival organised by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) on Saturday, 23 May 2026, at the Kemendikdasmen building in Jakarta.

The 2026 Student Festival serves as a platform to appreciate Indonesian students’ creativity and talents through various arts and cultural activities, including Visual Arts Performances, Music Performances, and other creative art events. The presence of multiple stakeholders in this event is expected to foster a positive space for expression among Indonesia’s youth.

During the event, Faber-Castell hosted a creative drawing workshop that drew high enthusiasm from participants. The workshop featured two of Faber-Castell’s flagship products: the Connector Pen, known for its vibrant and innovative colours, and the new Black Edition, which offers a richer colouring experience with high-quality pigments and comfortable handling.

The workshop encouraged participants to freely and enjoyably explore their creativity while learning various drawing techniques using Faber-Castell’s premium products.

Faber-Castell’s Public Relations Manager, Andri Kurniawan, stated in a release that the company’s participation aligns with its commitment to supporting the development of creativity among Indonesia’s youth.

He added that Faber-Castell’s involvement reflects not only a harmonious partnership with the ministry as a strategic collaborator but also the company’s dedication to contributing to the ecosystem that builds a creative generation in Indonesia.

“Participation in the 2026 Kemendikdasmen Student Festival is a tangible demonstration of our support for creative education and the development of Indonesian children’s potential through art and creativity,” Kurniawan concluded.
