Expressing Gratitude Through Sharing Programme with Hundreds of Orphans and Mechanics
In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, Indonesia’s leading lubricant manufacturer, Evalube, has once again organised its annual social initiative titled “My Ramadan My Charity 2026”. The programme, which has been running for six years since 2020, was implemented simultaneously across three major cities: Padang, Yogyakarta, and Lombok.
The activity, which took place from 26 February to 10 March 2026, targeted 132 orphans across three different orphanages. Evalube distributed assistance in the form of cash donations, school supplies, and educational facilities and infrastructure to support learning activities at these orphanages.
The orphanages that benefited from this programme included Ashabil Rayyan Orphanage in Padang, Islamic Orphan Boys An-Nur Orphanage in Yogyakarta, and LKSA Al Hidayah Orphanage in Lombok. Assistance was handed over symbolically by representatives of Evalube’s regional management together with official distributors in each area.
Evalube’s Commercial Director, Yomie Harlin, stated that this regular agenda represents the company’s gratitude for its achievements. “We want to ensure that Evalube’s presence is felt not only through our products, but also through concrete actions that deliver social impact,” Yomie said in his statement on Saturday, 14 March 2026.
Beyond supporting orphans, the Evalube team also demonstrated its appreciation to workshop partners. A total of 252 workshop mechanics across the three cities received breaking fast meal packages as recognition of their dedication.
Deputy Commercial Director Evalube, Antonius Salim Z, added that the company’s business growth must be accompanied by positive contributions to society and partners. Through this programme, Evalube hopes to continue strengthening its relationships with the community and delivering sustainable positive impact throughout Indonesia.
The Ramadan theme as a month of humanity was chosen to emphasise that Ramadan is not only understood as a moment of personal worship, but also as a strengthening of social concern.
