Equestrian meet starts tomorrow

JAKARTA (JP): Trijaya Equestrian Center will hold the
Indonesian leg of Group V's FEI Samsung International Dressage
Competition tomorrow in Ciganjur, South Jakarta.

Group V comprises India, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore,
Malaysia and Indonesia. FEI is the world governing body of
equestrian. Each member of the group holds an annual competition
among its own athletes on its own soil.

Two FEI judges, Erich Heinrich from Germany and Diana Mason
from Britain, tour each member country to score each competition.
The group country which has the highest score is declared the
group winner. Indonesia was the group winner in 1994 and in 1993.
The previous leg was held in Malaysia on Tuesday. (arf)
