PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) commemorated its 55th anniversary by accelerating digital transformation and strengthening its role in national financing, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The celebration, held at Graha Askrindo, adopted the theme “Grow Within, Perform Beyond” as the company’s commitment to bolstering internal performance while driving sustainable growth. Managing Director of Askrindo, M Fankar Umran, stated that the anniversary serves as a moment for reflection and reinforcement of the company’s contributions to financial inclusion. “This anniversary commemoration is not merely a ceremony, but a moment to reflect on our role in promoting financial inclusion. Askrindo is committed to continuously expanding financing access for business actors, especially MSMEs,” he said. Since its establishment on 6 April 1971, Askrindo has recorded KUR credit guarantees amounting to Rp1.125,9 trillion for 36.3 million MSME debtors from 2007 to 2025, absorbing 62.7 million workers. Throughout 2025, the company guaranteed KUR worth Rp114 trillion for 2 million MSME debtors, absorbing 3.7 million workers. Additionally, Askrindo recorded net underwriting results of Rp1.28 trillion and gross premiums of Rp4.44 trillion (unaudited). Fankar assessed that these achievements demonstrate increasingly strong business fundamentals. “We see that our portfolio strengthening and risk management strategies are running effectively. Moving forward, we will maintain healthy and sustainable growth,” he said. DIGITAL SYSTEM LAUNCH In conjunction with the anniversary, Askrindo launched the FINTRACS digital system and ASK-SCORING to improve efficiency and service quality. Askrindo’s Finance Director, Leonardo Henry Gavaza, explained that FINTRACS is an integrated system to centralise financial transactions. “Through FINTRACS, all cash receipt and expenditure processes are integrated into one platform with real-time monitoring, thereby increasing transparency and control,” he said. Meanwhile, ASK-SCORING is used to accelerate underwriting processes based on risk assessment. “This system enables faster, objective, and standardised risk analysis, integrated with the company’s core system,” Leonardo stated. Besides focusing on business, Askrindo also provided educational assistance to 158 children and 15 outsourced employees as part of the company’s social responsibility. Fankar emphasised that the transformation undertaken is not only to improve company performance but also to provide impacts on the economy. “Askrindo will continue to strengthen its role as an enabler of productive financing, especially for MSMEs, so they can grow faster and be more competitive,” he concluded.
