Elite cars
Elite cars
From Pikiran Rakyat
I was delighted to know that following an arduous bureaucratic struggle an Indonesian producer will produce a cheap car. But the question I would like to ask is: How cheap is the new car? And how long will the cars remain cheap?
I know from experience, and according to economic law, that demand causes prices to increase. The cheap car concept is therefore invalid. A popular car will cost more than the cars already available on the market.
If the national car is finally made, I hope the product is not only intended for the middle-class and up. It should be available to everyone. That way the cheap cars will benefit everyone not just the privileged elite.
