PT Kita Cinta Kecantikan, which oversees the Elasto Beauty clinic in Canggu, North Kuta, Badung, has responded to reports of alleged illegal foreign workers (TKA) involving the clinic. Director of PT Kita Cinta Kecantikan, Ussyana Dethan, denied the claims of foreign doctors working at the clinic. “I am not employing any foreign doctors,” she stated when contacted on Tuesday night (5/5/2026). She explained that the company had fulfilled a summons from the Bali Provincial Manpower and Energy Office regarding the report. According to her, the foreign workers employed have valid work permits. “The Manpower Office did issue a summons, and I have complied with it because the clinic is not employing the foreigners mentioned in the report. Our foreign workers have work permits,” she said. Regarding the temporary closure of the clinic, Ussyana emphasised that the decision was an internal company initiative. “The clinic is temporarily closed on my initiative because we will be carrying out some improvements, including repairs to several rooms,” she added. She also cautioned against disseminating information deemed irresponsible. Ussyana expressed objection to the report against her company. “I will not hesitate to take legal action for that because the company operates in accordance with existing labour regulations,” she asserted firmly.
