Eid Holiday Travel 2026: 92,000 Train Passengers Scheduled to Depart from Bandung and Kiaracondong Stations

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 2 Bandung reported that 92,390 train passengers are scheduled to depart from Bandung and Kiaracondong stations during the Eid holiday travel period spanning 22 days. The company also noted a significant increase in incoming passenger traffic during the same period.

“From the two main stations in the Daop 2 Bandung area—Bandung Station and Kiaracondong Station—a total of 92,390 customers are scheduled to depart to various destinations,” said KAI Daop 2 Bandung Public Relations Manager Kuswardojo on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.

During the same period, he reported that 85,680 customers are expected to arrive in Bandung through both stations. In response, the company is optimising facilities and infrastructure, enhancing station services, and increasing staff numbers to facilitate smooth passenger flow.

“As of the update on 2 March 2026, 92,390 customers are scheduled to depart and 85,680 customers are expected to arrive through Bandung and Kiaracondong stations,” he stated.

He noted that these figures will continue to change as ticket sales progress. KAI Daop 2 Bandung is committed to providing excellent service, ensuring that passenger journeys are safe, secure, comfortable, and on schedule.

Kuswardojo appealed to the public to plan their trips carefully and pay attention to departure schedules. He also advised passengers to arrive at stations earlier than necessary to avoid queues and congestion in service areas.

Additionally, KAI Daop 2 Bandung is ensuring that all train facilities are in excellent condition through intensive inspections prior to the Eid holiday travel period. The company encouraged passengers to use KAI’s official digital services for ticket booking and urged the public to plan their travel thoughtfully.
