JAKARTA – The Indonesian government has established operational restrictions on freight transport during the 2026 Eid holiday period and return traffic flow.

The policy was issued by the Ministry of Transport together with the Ministry of Public Works and the National Police Highway Enforcement Command through a Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) Numbers KP-DRJD 854 of 2026, HK.201/1/21/DJPL/2026, Kep/43/II/2026, and 20/KPTS/Db/2026 to ensure smooth traffic flow on major routes.

The restriction period commences today, Friday, 13 February 2026, at 12:00 WIB and continues until Sunday, 29 March 2026, at 24:00 WIB.

Restricted vehicles include:

  • Cargo vehicles with three or more axles

  • Trucks with trailers

  • Trucks with semi-trailers

  • Trucks transporting extracted materials (soil, sand, stone)

  • Trucks transporting mining products

  • Trucks transporting building materials

Restricted toll road sections:

Jakarta, Bodetabek and Banten

  • Jakarta – Tangerang – Merak

  • Prof. Dr. Ir. Sedyatmo Toll Road

  • Jakarta Outer Ring Road I (JORR I)

  • Cawang – Tomang – Pluit (Inner City Toll Road)

  • Ciawi – Cigombong – Cibadak
