EEC teaches the business world English

In today's global community, a common language of business and
commerce has emerged, allowing people from around the world to
come together and do business. This vernacular, the language of
business, is English.

Indonesia's leader in teaching English for business is the
English Education Center (EEC). With three locations in Jakarta,
EEC has taught thousands of Indonesians to effectively
communicate in English since opening its doors in 1972.

The EEC language training centers have a full range of audio-
visual aids, a library, cafeteria and mushola (prayer room),
providing students with a comfortable and conducive learning
environment. Classes are taught by experienced native speakers
with degrees and professional qualifications.

EEC offers a variety of courses in General Conversation,
giving students fundamental English skills, and English for
Academic Purposes, giving students all the skill necessary to
succeed in overseas studies, as well as LEF, TOEFL and GMAT.

While EEC offers courses for all interests and needs, in
today's world of cross-border commerce, perhaps its most
consequential course is Business English.

These courses include business and commercial English, English
for banking, English for presentations, English for meetings and
negotiations, English conversation and report and business letter
writing.

If you find none of the offered courses meet your
requirements, EEC staff can custom design a program to satisfy
even the most unique of needs.

EEC is aware that the students in its Business English Program
are busy professionals who cannot afford to spend hours of their
day traveling to and from English classes. For this reason, EEC
can conduct its programs at one of its training centers in
Jakarta, in the client's office or directly on site, guaranteeing
the program is convenient for students.

The program itself takes a comprehensive approach to giving
students the knowledge they will need to succeed in all business
interactions. The program emphasizes listening and speaking,
giving its students the opportunity to use what they have learned
in situations which reflect their own work experiences. This
participation ensures students do not graduate from the program
without the ability to put into practice in the real world what
they have learned in the classroom.

The Business English Program is designed for business people
who want to improve their English for their work as well as for
business students. To be eligible for the program, participants
must have a postelementary English level (EEC level three).

Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. either three times a
week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), or two times a week (Tuesday
and Thursday).

Upon successful completion of the program, students are
awarded a certificate indicating their mastery of business
English.
