There was no limit to the colors and noises emanating from Bali where people from around the globe had gathered for the United Nations fourth and final preparatory committee (PrepCom) meeting for the upcoming World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa. However, the meeting ended deadlock on Friday and the proposed "Bali Commitment" was not realized. The contentious issues still on debate will be brought to the World Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, in August. Delegates convened to discuss the contentious issues of the plan of implementation for sustainable development prior to the plenary meeting.
