Dusit Hotel in Balikpapan

Dusit Hotel in Balikpapan

From Media Indonesia

On April 12 I checked in at Dusit Hotel, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan.

While still handling my check-in, the receptionist left me to serve another client, a westerner who participated in the Camel Rally.

I am deeply disappointed that, while apartheid has been done away with in South Africa, there are still Indonesians who treat their fellow countrymen in a racist way.

I have another complaint. My brother received a bill for two bottles of Jack Daniels, yet he had consumed only one. After a heated 15-minute discussion the hotel acquiesced and charged Rp 33,000, still a stiff price.
