Dudung Meets Moeldoko to Discuss Strategy for Overseeing Priority Programmes
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman met with former KSP head Moeldoko to discuss strategies for strengthening the institution’s role in overseeing various government priority programmes.
According to a press statement in Jakarta on Tuesday, the meeting between the two figures focused on exchanging views regarding the strategic steps needed to enhance the effectiveness of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) functions in the future.
In the dialogue held at Moeldoko’s residence, Dudung highlighted the importance of overseeing and controlling priority programmes to ensure their implementation remains on track with the targets set by the government.
In addition to programme oversight, the meeting discussed the management of national strategic issues that require cross-sector coordination as well as swift and measured government responses.
Dudung and Moeldoko also emphasised the importance of synergy among leaders to address national policy challenges deemed increasingly complex.
The continuity of leadership experience became a key point in ensuring the KSP’s strategic work continues to run optimally.
Moeldoko served as Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) for two consecutive terms during President Joko Widodo’s administration, the first from 2018–2019, appointed on 17 January 2018 replacing Teten Masduki in the Working Cabinet.
The second term from 2019–2024, reappointed on 23 October 2019 in the Forward Indonesia Cabinet, and ending his tenure on 20 October 2024.
