Dude Herlino Implicated in Indonesia Sharia Fund Case: Who Owns It?
PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI) is under intense scrutiny following reports from thousands of lenders unable to withdraw their funds. The case has implicated actor Dude Herlino, who previously served as the company’s brand ambassador. He and his wife, Alyssa Soebandono, arrived at the Bareskrim Polri building in South Jakarta to be examined as witnesses regarding the alleged fraud and embezzlement totalling Rp 2.4 trillion by PT DSI. As quoted from detikcom on Thursday (2/4/2026), Dude and Alyssa arrived around 10:05 WIB. Dude was wearing a long-sleeved green shirt, while Alyssa wore a black dress. They stated they were ready to provide statements to the investigators. “This is the first invitation from Bareskrim to give information related to DSI. Owner of DSI According to the company’s official website, Taufiq Aljufri is listed as the Founder and President Director. He has more than 20 years of managerial experience as CEO and director in various companies, and has received the 2nd Best Entrepreneur award in 2006 and 2007. Taufiq is also a lecturer at a business school in Jakarta and has been a housing developer for 10 years, building more than 15 clusters. In the last five years, he has been active in the sharia property developer community and founded the P2P fintech Danasyariah.id. Taufiq’s name is alongside several other co-founders and shareholders, including Arie Rizal Lesmana as co-founder and Mery Yuniarni as a shareholder. Through his statement to the media on Wednesday (19/11/2025), he mentioned that the establishment of Dana Syariah had the vision to enliven the sharia financial market in 2018. Over 7.5 years of operation, the company has served more than 40,000 lenders, with more than 26,000 lenders having their funds returned along with returns. As of November 2025, the company recorded a non-performing loan rate (TWP 90) of 0.18%. Meanwhile, its total assets amounted to Rp 131.69 billion.
