Ducati Indonesia promotes Bali to the world through 'We Ride As One'
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Ducati Indonesia held a joint riding event titled “We Ride As One” in Bali, involving around 110 Ducati motorcycles from various communities in Indonesia.
The event, which is part of Ducati’s global agenda, started from the ITDC Nusa Dua area and passed through the Bali Mandara Toll Road before ending at Peninsula Island, Bali.
CEO of Ducati Indonesia, Jimmy Budhijanto, said that the selection of Bali as the location for the event was to support the promotion of Indonesian tourism, especially the Island of the Gods, through international-scale automotive community activities.
“In addition to being a gathering for Ducatisti, this activity is also expected to contribute positively to supporting the improvement of Bali’s tourism image in the international arena,” said Jimmy in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.
He explained that the activity began with a safety briefing for participants before the group ride.
The event was also attended by the General Manager of Ducati Corse Off-Road, Paolo Ciabatti, who also saw off the participants for the ride.
Paolo is known as one of the figures behind the success of the Ducati team in the MotoGP event with rider Francesco Bagnaia.
As many as nine lines of Ducati motorcycles enlivened the event, including Superbike, Multistrada, DesertX, Hypermotard, Streetfighter, Diavel, Monster, Sport Classic, and Scrambler.
At Peninsula Island, participants formed a formation of the number “100” as part of the celebration of Ducati’s centenary.
According to him, “We Ride As One” is an annual global agenda held simultaneously by Ducati communities in various countries.
2026 will be the fourth event held in Indonesia after previously being held in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Mandalika.
Ducati Indonesia stated that this year’s event was held on a smaller scale in the midst of the global economic situation.
However, the company still opened registration for Ducati users in Indonesia, including providing free accommodation and towing facilities for the first 100 Ducati Indonesia customer participants.
Through this activity, Ducati Indonesia hopes that the promotion of Bali can be spread through social media communities and Ducati’s global network.
“Through this momentum, Ducati Indonesia invites all participants to jointly become ambassadors of the nation in promoting Bali as a safe, beautiful, and worthy destination to enjoy, including through riding activities,” said Jimmy.
