DSI Case Update: OJK Continues to Pursue Assets, Public Accountant Danang Rahmat Surono Suspended
Jakarta - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) continues to work on resolving the PT Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI) default case through legal channels, while tracing the company’s assets.
OJK Commissioner Chairman Friderica Widyasari Dewi stated that the authority is still pursuing DSI’s assets to return funds to unpaid lenders.
“OJK continues to support the legal approach process involving Dana Syariah Indonesia, namely through very good coordination with the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency and related stakeholders in handling the case, including efforts to trace assets and subsequently return lender funds in accordance with applicable provisions,” she said during the OJK RDKB press conference for April 2026 on Tuesday (5/5/2026).
This extension provides broader opportunities for victims to file protection requests, which will then be further investigated by OJK and law enforcement authorities according to their respective authorities.
On 2 April 2026, OJK suspended the registration of Public Accountant Danang Rahmat Surono related to the audit of PT DSI’s Audited Annual Financial Statements (LKTA) for 2024.

“OJK continues to support the law enforcement process involving Dana Syariah Indonesia (DSI), among others through coordination with law enforcement authorities and related stakeholders in handling the case, including efforts to trace assets and return lender funds in accordance with applicable provisions,” said Agusman.
