Drag race to resume at Sentul

JAKARTA (JP): The Sentul circuit is to host the third round of
the five-leg Get Lucky Drag Race, scheduled to run from this
Saturday at 7:00 p.m. to Sunday at 4:00 a.m.

Race director Karel Hasilatu told a press conference yesterday
that thus far 140 cars have been registered for the race. The
organizers will limit the number of cars to 250.

Denim Gunawan, Pare Soemoele, Ananda Mikola and Beni Bintang
are trying to beat the current record of 12 seconds over a 402-
meter straight track.

State Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Hayono Isman is due
to open the race. The fourth and fifth races are scheduled to
take place in October and December. (yan)
