DPLK Syariah Muamalat records managed assets reaching Rp1.9 trillion in 2025
DPLK Syariah Muamalat, the Islamic pension fund established by PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk, recorded 12 per cent year-on-year growth in managed assets to more than Rp1.9 trillion in 2025.
The company noted that this growth exceeded industry growth rates.
Executive Director of DPLK Syariah Muamalat, Aznovri Kurniawan, stated in Jakarta on Monday that this achievement aligns with the fund’s mission to become the primary provider of Islamic pension fund services for all segments of society and to promote Islamic financial literacy across Indonesia.
Positive performance was also reflected in membership numbers, with the addition of more than 13,000 new individual participants, bringing the total individual membership to over 125,000.
Additionally, corporate partnerships expanded significantly. After securing 825 companies by 2024, DPLK Syariah Muamalat added 92 new corporate partnerships by the end of 2025, representing 11 per cent year-on-year growth. The company noted this was the largest increase compared to previous years, driven by intensified Islamic financial literacy efforts.
Several other financial indicators also showed improvement. The return on assets (RoA) ratio increased to 6.44 per cent in 2025 from 5.38 per cent in 2024.
Regarding benefits to participants, investment returns rose to 7.72 per cent in 2025 from 6.76 per cent in the same period of the previous year.
The company stated that the growth in positive investment returns, which are fully distributed to participants, demonstrates the success of one of its key strategies focusing on investment optimisation.
“Notably, all DPLK Syariah Muamalat investment packages in 2025 delivered returns exceeding 7 per cent, across low-risk, medium-risk, and high-risk investment categories,” Aznovri said.
To realise this performance, DPLK Syariah Muamalat expanded service delivery through Bank Muamalat’s branch network and direct strategic partnerships.
Aznovri added that participants now find it easier to access account balances, transaction information, and open new accounts through the Muamalat DIN mobile banking application.
This digitalisation has expanded outreach and strengthened independent services for participants at any time and from anywhere. Access is also available through the DPLK Syariah Muamalat website.
