Dozens of concertgoers at the Indoor Stadium of the Bung Karno Sports Complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, turned violent at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday , damaging parked cars after being unable to obtain entry to the stadium to watch, among other acts, the performances of well-known singer Iwan Fals and rock band Slank staged by TransTV in celebrating its third anniversary. The TV station's spokesman, Riza Primadi, said that car owners whose vehicles were damaged in the incident would receive compensation from the organizers. No serious injuries were reported in the incident but the organizers had a huge clean-up job on their hands. -- JP
