The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is monitoring business actors, from hotels to cafes and restaurants, to prevent improper use of subsidised LPG.
“This monitoring involves the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) and other related agencies,” said Special Staff to the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta for Public Communications, Chico Hakim, in Jakarta on Friday.
- DKI BPBD Maps Landslide-Prone Areas in South Jakarta and East Jakarta
The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) is mapping several areas potentially prone to landslides in South Jakarta (Jaksel) and East Jakarta (Jaktim) as an effort to mitigate disasters during the rainy season.
“We have frequently conducted river surveys, especially in the Ciliwung, to map and observe points potentially prone to landslides, as well as coordinate with sub-district offices,” said Head of the Data and Information Centre for Disasters at DKI BPBD, Mohamad Yohan, when met in South Jakarta on Thursday.
- DKI Provincial Government Ensures Non-Subsidised LPG Stock is Safe
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) has assured that the availability of non-subsidised 5.5 kg and 12 kg LPG in Jakarta remains stable following the price adjustment effective from 18 April 2026.
Head of the DKI Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM), Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, stated that 12 kg LPG is non-subsidised, so price changes follow global market dynamics.
- Extent of Green Open Spaces in Jakarta Now Reaches 3,700 Hectares
Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Rano Karno, stated that the extent of green open spaces (RTH) in the capital now reaches 3,703.56 hectares or 5.59 percent, an increase compared to 2024, which was 3,446 hectares (5.3 percent).
“The increase in the percentage of green open spaces through the development of 15 locations for park RTH, one location for green corridor RTH, three locations for forest RTH, and one location for cemetery RTH with 7,627 potential new burial plots,” said Rano during the Plenary Session of the DKI Jakarta DPRD on Monday.
