Kendari (ANTARA) - The Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb), Ministry of Finance, for Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) records that the realisation of the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) in the Land of the Anoa region reached Rp5.3 trillion as of 31 March 2026.

Head of the Kanwil DJPb Ministry of Finance Sultra, Iman Widhiyanto, in Kendari on Wednesday, stated that the state spending performance indicates significant growth of 33.38 per cent compared to the same period in the previous year, 2025.

“The realisation of the regional APBN spending up to the end of the first quarter has reached 25.37 per cent of the total allocated budget,” said Iman Widhiyanto.

According to Iman Widhiyanto, the acceleration of spending at the beginning of this year is driven by government policies that no longer impose budget efficiency measures as was done at the start of 2025.

In addition, this realisation is supported by the disbursement of Transfers to Regions (TKD) in the form of General Allocation Fund (DAU) Block Grant amounting to Rp703 billion.

“In detail, Central Government Spending is recorded at Rp1.42 trillion. The largest portion is allocated for employee spending worth Rp937.33 billion, followed by goods spending of Rp323.72 billion, capital spending of Rp164.78 billion, and social assistance of Rp1.41 billion.

Meanwhile, the disbursement of Transfers to Regions (TKD) up to 31 March 2026 has reached Rp3.91 trillion or 28.75 per cent of the allocation.

“The TKD component experiencing the highest growth is Non-Physical DAK, which grew by 65.81 per cent, followed by Profit-Sharing Funds and General Allocation Funds,” explained Iman Widhiyanto.

However, Iman Widhiyanto also noted that the disbursement of Village Funds is still experiencing a contraction of 76.51 per cent compared to last year due to new technical guidelines issued in March, so the disbursement process by villages is still proceeding gradually.

With this positively maintained spending realisation, DJPb Sultra hopes to continue driving regional economic acceleration towards food sovereignty, energy, and economy in Southeast Sulawesi.
