Jakarta – The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance has recorded that the number of taxpayers who have activated their Coretax accounts has reached 14,693,596 accounts with annual tax return (Surat Pemberitahuan/SPT) filings reaching 4,646,178 SPT.

Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Tax Counselling, Services and Public Relations at DJP, detailed in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday that Coretax account activations came from 13,691,569 individual taxpayers and 911,990 corporate taxpayers, with an additional 89,812 government agency taxpayers and 225 electronic commerce system traders (PMSE).

For annual tax returns, the filings submitted through Coretax DJP totalled 4,646,007 SPT and Coretax Form 171 SPT. The DJP provides the Coretax Form as a reporting channel for individual taxpayers with nil annual tax return status.

The breakdown of annual tax return filings for the fiscal year January–December 2025 comprised 4,126,978 SPT from employee individual taxpayers, 408,524 from non-employee individual taxpayers, 109,575 corporate taxpayers in rupiah, and 103 corporate taxpayers in US dollars. For annual tax returns from different fiscal years that began being reported from 1 August 2025, the total reached 809 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 18 in US dollars.

To file their annual tax returns, taxpayers can independently activate their Coretax accounts by following tutorials and steps available through the DJP’s official social media accounts. For those requiring further assistance, the DJP provides the Tax Hotline (Kring Pajak) at 1500200 or in-person support at the nearest tax office.

The DJP has urged taxpayers who have not yet filed their annual tax returns to immediately activate their Coretax accounts and submit their SPT on time. Taxpayers who delay filing their annual tax returns will face administrative sanctions in the form of fines of 100,000 rupiah for individual taxpayers and 1 million rupiah for corporate taxpayers.
