As of 25 February 2026, at 08.07 WIB, the progress of annual personal income tax (PPh) return submissions has been recorded at 4,056,207 returns.

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance recorded that the progress of annual Income Tax (PPh) return submissions had reached 4,056,207 returns as of 25 February 2026.

“As of 25 February 2026, at 08.07 WIB, the progress of annual PPh return submissions has been recorded at 4,056,207 returns,” said Director of Public Relations and Communication Services of the DJP, Inge Diana Rismawanti, in a written statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Based on the taxpayers who submitted their annual tax returns, for the January to December 2025 tax year, the DJP recorded reports from 3,591,170 individual employee taxpayers and 362,395 individual non-employee taxpayers.

Furthermore, there were 101,787 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 98 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

Meanwhile, for annual tax return reports with different tax years, which began to be reported on 1 August 2025, the number of reports recorded was 740 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 17 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

Furthermore, regarding the progress of Coretax account activation, the DJP stated that as many as 14,448,012 taxpayers had activated their accounts.

This number consists of 13,451,501 individual taxpayers, 906,563 corporate taxpayers, 89,723 government agencies, and 225 electronic system-based traders (PMSE).

To submit annual tax returns, taxpayers can independently activate their Coretax accounts by following the tutorials and steps available through the DJP’s official social media accounts.

For taxpayers who need further assistance, the DJP provides the Kring Pajak service at 1500200 or assistance from officers at the nearest tax office.

The DJP also encourages taxpayers who have not yet submitted their annual tax returns to immediately activate their Coretax accounts and submit their tax returns on time.

Taxpayers who are late in submitting their annual tax returns will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of a fine, namely IDR 100,000 for individual taxpayers and IDR 1 million for corporate taxpayers.
