Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance has recorded that the number of taxpayers who have activated their CoreTax accounts has reached 16,723,354, while 8,874,904 have submitted their Annual Tax Returns (SPT) as of 24 March 2026.

For CoreTax account activations, DJP’s Director of Education, Services, and Public Relations, Inge Diana Rismawanti, in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, detailed that this figure comprises 15,677,209 individual taxpayers and 955,508 corporate taxpayers.

Additionally, there are 90,411 government institution taxpayers and 226 taxpayers engaged in Electronic System-Based Trading (PMSE).

Regarding SPT reporting, DJP has compiled data for reports based on the fiscal year from January to December 2025, as well as reports for differing fiscal years that began being submitted on 1 August 2025.

For the January–December 2025 fiscal year, the SPT reports come from 7,826,341 employee individual taxpayers, 863,272 non-employee individual taxpayers, 183,583 corporate taxpayers in rupiah, and 138 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

For differing fiscal years, the SPT reports are recorded from 1,549 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 21 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.

To submit annual SPT, taxpayers can activate their CoreTax accounts independently by following the tutorials and steps available through DJP’s official social media accounts.

DJP also provides the CoreTax Form for individual taxpayers with Nil Annual Tax Return (SPT) status.

For taxpayers needing further assistance, DJP offers the Kring Pajak service line at 1500200 or support from officers at the nearest tax office.

DJP also urges taxpayers who have not yet reported their annual SPT to promptly activate their CoreTax accounts and submit their returns on time.

Taxpayers who delay submitting their annual SPT will face administrative sanctions in the form of fines, namely Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1 million for corporate taxpayers.
