District Police Chief and Deputy Regent of Rohil Inspect Fuel Stations, Ensure Petrol and Gas LPG Stocks Safe

Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026, District Police Chief AKBP Isa Imam Syahroni of Rokan Hilir and Deputy Regent Jhonny Charles conducted inspections and checks at several public fuel stations (SPBU) and LPG bulk filling and transport stations (SPPBE) in Tanah Putih District. Police ensured that stocks of petrol and LPG gas were secure.

The inspection was carried out at three locations: SPBU Codo Banjar XII and SPBU Ujung Tanjung in Tanah Putih District, as well as SPPBE in Banjar XII Village, Tanah Putih District. As part of the inspection, officers also conducted quality checks using a terra metre device to verify petrol quality.

“The inspection results at both fuel stations showed a tolerance of 70 millilitres, which confirms compliance with applicable standards,” said Isa in a statement on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

During the checks, Isa also verified that petrol availability at both fuel stations remained safe and sufficient. Based on the inspection results, petrol stocks at SPBU Codo Banjar XII were: Pertamax Turbo 9,216 litres, Pertamax 92 at 9,487 litres, Pertamina Dex at 3,350 litres, Pertalite at 12,932 litres, Bio Solar at 24,626 litres, and Dexlite at 5,248 litres.

“Meanwhile, stocks at SPBU Ujung Tanjung CV Andy Asnur included Pertalite at 8,844 litres and Pertamax at 3,120 litres,” he said.

The inspection continued at the SPPBE in Banjar XII Village, Tanah Putih District. Based on the inspection results, Isa reported that the final stock of 3 kg LPG gas at the Rohil Regency SPPBE as of 11 March 2026 was 89 tonnes, with an average distribution of 16,800 gas cylinders per day.

“From the checks conducted in the field, petrol and 3 kg LPG gas stocks were monitored to be in a safe condition and distribution was running smoothly and in accordance with applicable regulations,” he said.

Public Urged Not to Panic Buy

Further, Isa urged the public not to worry about the availability of petrol and LPG gas in the Rohil area. Based on the direct checks in the field conducted together with the local government, stocks were in a safe condition and sufficient to meet public needs.

“I also urge the public to remain calm, there is no need for panic buying, purchase petrol and LPG gas according to need, avoid hoarding, and maintain order during the purchasing process,” he said.

AKBP Isa assured that his office would continue to work with the local government to monitor the distribution of petrol and LPG gas to ensure smooth distribution, proper targeting, and to prevent any irregularities that could harm the public. Any misuse of petrol would be dealt with strictly in accordance with applicable regulations.

At the same occasion, Deputy Regent Jhonny Charles stated that the activity was conducted to ensure the availability of petrol and LPG gas, particularly 3 kg LPG cylinders, remained safe and sufficient to meet public needs.

“The local government together with the police will continue to monitor and oversee the availability and distribution of petrol and LPG gas to ensure smooth distribution, proper targeting, and to prevent shortages or irregularities in the field. I urge the public not to make excessive purchases or hoard supplies, and to buy according to their needs so that energy availability can be fairly distributed to all members of the public,” said Jhonny.
