Dismissed Over Drug Case, AKBP Didik Transferred to Yanma Polri
Former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro has been transferred to the position of middle-ranking officer (pamen) at the Indonesian National Police’s Headquarters Services (Yanma Polri).
The transfer is set out in National Police Chief Telegram Letter No. ST/440//II/KEP./2026 dated 27 February 2026.
Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Jhonny Eddison Isir, stated that Didik’s transfer to Yanma Polri was to facilitate the administrative process for implementing the police ethics tribunal’s decision.
In the ethics tribunal proceedings, Didik was sanctioned with dismissal without honour (PTDH) from the Indonesian National Police.
“AKBP Didik’s transfer to Yanma is to facilitate the administrative process for implementing the ethics tribunal decision; his dismissal is currently being processed,” Isir stated when confirmed on Saturday (28/2).
In the transfer, the position of Bima City Police Chief is now filled by AKBP Mubiarto Banu Kristanto, who previously served as Head of the Traffic Investigation Unit at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police.
Previously, the National Police Criminal Investigation Division had established former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra as a suspect for drug abuse.
Didik was found guilty of possessing a white suitcase containing narcotics that had been entrusted to Aipda Dianita in Tangerang, Banten.
The narcotics evidence discovered consisted of methamphetamine weighing 16.3 grammes, 49 ecstasy tablets and 2 residual tablets (23.5 grammes), 19 Aprazolam tablets, 2 Happy Five tablets and 5 grammes of ketamine.
Didik also tested positive for drug use based on hair follicle drug testing conducted at a laboratory.
In addition to this case, Didik was also established as a suspect for receiving proceeds from drug-related criminal activity by the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police on Monday (16/2).
Didik allegedly received drug proceeds amounting to Rp2.8 billion from drug trafficker Koh Erwin through his subordinate AKP Malaungi, who served as Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at Bima City Police. The money was received by Didik between June and November 2025.
