Disappointed by SCTV

Some time ago SCTV asked me for the use of my villa in Anyer,
West Java. The wanted to shoot Dessy there because one of the
episodes needed a beach location. I agreed and permitted them to
use the whole villa including its yard which protrudes into the
sea.

A memorandum of understanding was prepared by SCTV. One
paragraph stipulated that if I (the second party) "do not fulfill
my obligation as agreed upon, then I am obliged to refund all
expenses born by the first party (SCTV) to pay the cost of
another villa as a substitute."

I signed the agreement and sent it back to SCTV. I was
informed that the shooting was to begin at 8 a.m. I left at 5
a.m. for Anyer because the journey takes over two hours. I arrived
just after 7.30 and prepared everything for the shoot, including
two speedboats and two jetskies in case they needed them as
props.

The SCTV crew didn't show up and they never informed me about
the cancellation. I have no intention to claim for any
compensation.

I used to regard SCTV as professional, but now I think of them
as slack.
