Dirty road

The construction of the building by the Jakarta Metropolitan
Administration in collaboration with PT Bakrie Investindo in
Rasuna Said area, Kuningan, South Jakarta, is upsetting road
users. The slow lane around the construction site becomes very
dirty, as the trucks leaving and entering the complex spill earth
they are carrying. The earth is scattered as far as Jl.
Casablanca.

On rainy days the road is very muddy. And on warm days the
earth hardens, making the road quite bumpy. This dry earth
creates a haze of dirt which is very unpleasant to motorists and
other road users.

The Jakarta Administration should do something about it. A
rigid regulation should be introduced requiring developers to
take care of the environment and the interests of the public.
