The Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance (DJP Kemenkeu) records that, up to February 2026, state revenues from the digital economy business sector have reached Rp 48.11 trillion. This figure is higher than the digital tax revenue for the same month last year, which stood at Rp 33.56 trillion.

“Up to 28 February 2026, the government has recorded revenues from the digital economy business sector amounting to Rp 48.11 trillion, derived from the collection of Value Added Tax (VAT) on Electronic System-Based Trading (PMSE) of Rp 37.40 trillion, tax on crypto assets of Rp 1.96 trillion, fintech tax (peer-to-peer lending) of Rp 4.64 trillion, and taxes collected by other parties through the Government Procurement Information System (SIPP Tax) of Rp 4.11 trillion,” stated the Director of Outreach, Services, and Public Relations, Inge Diana Rismawanti, in an official statement on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) has appointed 260 PMSE business actors as VAT Collectors for PMSE up to the end of February 2026. Throughout February 2026, there were no new appointments, revocations, or changes to the data of PMSE VAT Collectors, thus no changes occurred compared to the situation in January 2026.

Inge conveyed that, from all the appointed collectors, 223 PMSE entities have carried out the collection and deposit of PMSE VAT totalling Rp 37.401 trillion. This amount consists of deposits of Rp 731.4 billion in 2020, Rp 3.9 trillion in 2021, Rp 5.51 trillion in 2022, Rp 6.76 trillion in 2023, Rp 8.44 trillion in 2024, Rp 10.32 trillion in 2025, and Rp 1.74 trillion in 2026.
