Diesel Price Hike: Check the List of Used Toyota Innova Reborn Diesel Car Prices
JAKARTA – The rise in non-subsidised fuel oil (BBM) prices at the beginning of May 2026 has begun to affect the used car market, particularly in the diesel vehicle segment such as the Toyota Innova Reborn. The price adjustment carried out by PT Pertamina (Persero) from 4 May 2026 recorded a significant increase in diesel BBM. Dexlite rose from Rp 23,600 to Rp 26,000 per litre, while Pertamina Dex surged from Rp 23,900 to Rp 27,900 per litre. On the other hand, the price of subsidised Biosolar remains at Rp 6,800 per litre. Agus, owner of Focus Motor, stated that price reductions have already occurred on several popular diesel models, one of which is the Toyota Innova Reborn. “Yes, it’s down too, the Innova Reborn has dropped by up to 10 per cent,” Agus told Kompas.com on Tuesday (5/5/2026). A similar view was expressed by Andi Supriyadi, owner of Jordy Mobil. He mentioned that the price decline trend is occurring in almost all diesel cars, but it is not uniform. “All diesel cars have seen price drops. But the reductions are relatively not the same. The Innova’s drop is slight,” said Andi. Based on checks on online buying and selling platforms, the current price of Toyota Innova Reborn diesel varies depending on the production year, condition, and payment scheme. The price range shows that even though adjustments have occurred, models like the Innova Reborn still have appeal in the market. The relatively limited price drop compared to other diesel cars also indicates that demand remains stable. According to dealers, the diesel fuel price increase has made some potential buyers more cautious, especially regarding long-term operational costs. This situation has impacted the decline in demand, which is then responded to with price adjustments.
