Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) under the Ministry of Finance has recorded a total of 2,906,662 taxpayers filing their Annual Tax Returns (SPT) through the Coretax system as of 18 February 2026.

“As of 18 February 2026 at 08:07 Western Indonesian Time, the progress of Annual Income Tax Return filing stands at 2,906,662,” said DGT Director of Outreach, Services and Public Relations Inge Diana Rismawanti in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

For the January–December 2026 fiscal year, the annual tax return filings comprised 2,552,771 individual employee taxpayers, 270,960 individual non-employee taxpayers, 82,229 corporate taxpayers filing in rupiah, and 92 corporate taxpayers filing in US dollars.

For taxpayers with differing fiscal years who began filing from 1 August 2025, the figures showed 594 corporate taxpayers filing in rupiah and 16 corporate taxpayers filing in US dollars.

Meanwhile, the progress of Coretax DGT account activations has reached 13,924,414 taxpayers. Of these, 12,942,290 accounts belong to individual taxpayers, 892,396 to corporate taxpayers, 89,503 to government institution taxpayers, and 225 to taxpayers engaged in trade through electronic systems (PMSE).

To file annual tax returns, taxpayers can independently activate their Coretax accounts by following tutorials and step-by-step guides available through DGT’s official social media accounts.

For taxpayers requiring further assistance, DGT provides the Kring Pajak service channel on 1500200 or in-person support from officers at the nearest tax office.

DGT also urged taxpayers who have not yet filed their annual tax returns to promptly activate their Coretax accounts and submit their returns on time.

Taxpayers who file their annual tax returns late will be subject to administrative penalties in the form of fines, namely Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1 million for corporate taxpayers.
