Dexa Group, a producer of health products, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in advancing national health. This includes organising free health check programmes in various cities.

The free health checks, organised by the company, began and received high enthusiasm from residents of Bogor and surrounding areas last weekend. The programme, attended by 679 residents of Bogor and nearby regions, is part of the Dexa Dharma corporate social initiative, which focuses on improving public health awareness regarding the importance of early detection of non-communicable diseases through preventive and educational efforts.

The results of the free health checks, attended by hundreds of residents, showed that 7 out of 10 or 73.8% of participants are at risk of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol. These health examination results emphasise the importance of early detection as an effort to maintain health sustainably.

“In 2026, the Cek Segitiga programme starts from Bogor. We hope that public participation continues to increase so that this programme truly provides a real contribution in providing free health services,” explained Dharma Dexa Manager, Mr Mateus Ramidi, as quoted from his statement on Tuesday, 14 April 2026.

He also emphasised that Dexa Group not only focuses on preventive services but also ensures access to quality treatment.

“Dexa Medica continues to commit to providing quality generic medicines with wide reach through 38 branches throughout Indonesia. We believe that the even availability of medicines is an important part in supporting comprehensive public health,” added Mateus.

Through the Cek Segitiga programme, Dexa Group hopes to continue expanding the reach of preventive health services while building a culture of early detection within the community. This effort is an important part in addressing the challenges of non-communicable diseases that still remain the main cause of death in Indonesia.

The high risk figures in Bogor indicate that many people are not yet aware of their health conditions. This is reinforced by the on-site screening results which found:

  • 54.2% have cholesterol levels above normal (>199 mg/dL),

  • 42.1% detected with high blood pressure,

  • 10.3% have random blood sugar levels above 200 mg/dL.
