Detailed Spatial Plans Linked to OSS Dramatically Boost Business Licensing Speed
JAKARTA - The Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) connected to the Online Single Submission (OSS) system has a significant impact on the speed of service for location permits and other business licensing.
Director General of Spatial Planning at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Suyus Windayana, said that 350 RDTRs connected to OSS had generated approximately 340,000 service requests for investment. By comparison, areas without RDTR or OSS connectivity recorded only around 20,000 services.
"If there is OSS, the service is faster — it can be completed in one day," said Suyus, as quoted from the official website of the Ministry of ATR/BPN on Saturday, 14 June.
He explained that the Ministry of ATR/BPN continues to push for the accelerated preparation of RDTRs across various regions. The target is for 2,000 RDTRs to be issued over the coming years, with more than 100 published annually.
Currently, 645 RDTRs have been compiled, but only 352 are integrated with OSS. To accelerate this integration, the Ministry of ATR/BPN is preparing a Circular Letter jointly with the Ministry of Investment, directing all regional heads to immediately connect their completed RDTRs to the OSS system.
"To make it easier, faster, and certainly more attractive to investors," he concluded.
