Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs Attends International Conference on Infrastructure 2025 in Jakarta
Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (Wamen ATR/Waka BPN), Ossy Dermawan, attended the opening of the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 held at the Jakarta International Convention Center on Wednesday (11/6/2025). The conference was initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Kemenko IPK) as a strategic forum to promote cross-sector dialogue and collaboration in infrastructure development.
"ICI 2025 presents important information that many stakeholders need to know regarding infrastructure development in Indonesia," said Ossy after the opening ceremony.
He added that the conference serves as an effective platform for bringing together investors and policymakers in an open dialogue. Investors can gain deeper understanding of the national infrastructure investment climate, including applicable licensing processes and regulations.
"This event will provide additional knowledge and insights, particularly for investors who wish to invest in Indonesia," he explained.
Ossy also affirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency to supporting the acceleration of infrastructure development through cross-sector cooperation to create a conducive investment ecosystem.
"I am very supportive, and we are also taking part in this International Conference on Infrastructure," he added.
The conference, attended by more than 6,000 participants, was officially opened by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). In his address, Coordinating Minister AHY called on all stakeholders to make ICI 2025 a milestone for global collaboration towards inclusive and sustainable development.
"Let us make this conference a platform for bold commitments, cross-border collaboration, and transformative partnerships," said AHY.
Senior government officials, ambassadors, academics, industry players, and both domestic and foreign investors were also in attendance. The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Deputy Head of BPN was accompanied by several senior officials from the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency.
