Denpasar Weather Forecast, 27 February 2026: BMKG Issues Early Warning for Extreme Weather
It is not the right time to raise JKN (National Health Insurance) premiums when the public’s economic conditions are still under pressure.
The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) has issued an early warning regarding the potential for extreme weather that will hit the Denpasar, Bali area on Friday, 27 February 2026. The public is asked to be alert for the potential of moderate to heavy rain which may be accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
Based on the latest weather forecast data, the air temperature in the city of Denpasar is predicted to be in the range of 24 to 31 degrees Celsius with a fairly high level of air humidity, reaching 98 percent. The wind blows from the Southwest to West with a fairly significant speed, reaching up to 46 km/hour.
The widespread rain conditions in the southern part of Bali, including Denpasar and Badung, have the potential to cause hydrometeorological disasters such as puddles or flooding in urban areas. The BMKG appealed to the public to continue monitoring weather information periodically through the InfoBMKG application or other official channels.
For tourists and those involved in the marine sector, the wave height in the northern waters of Bali is estimated to be between 0.5 to 1.5 meters. Meanwhile, in the southern waters of Bali (Indian Ocean), the wave height is monitored to be higher, reaching 1 to 3 meters. This condition needs to be watched out for activities crossing or beach tourism.
