Danamon takes over Delta
JAKARTA (JP): Publicly-listed Bank Danamon will take over the assets of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bank Delta, which will be liquidated on June 30.
Bank Danamon said in a statement over the weekend that the takeover plan has been approved by the Ministry of Finance.
"Therefore, Bank Delta's headquarters on Jl. Melawai Raya, South Jakarta, will become a Bank Danamon branch office, while its other offices will operate as Danamon sub-branches," Bank Danamon's president, Nienie Admajaya, said.
The statement also said that Bank Danamon would acquire the assets and liabilities of Bank Delta, including its shares in a number of secondary banks. (alo)
