CSIS observes 25th anniversary

CSIS observes 25th anniversary

JAKARTA (JP): To commemorate its silver anniversary, the
Center of Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is to hold
an international seminar titled One Southeast Asia in a New
Regional and International Setting here Wednesday.

The seminar, at the Jakarta Convention Center, will feature
former United States Ambassador to Indonesia Paul Wolfowitz.

The seminar is open to the public. Invitations can be obtained
from the CSIS office at Jl. Tanah Abang II/23-27, Jakarta.

CSIS is to hold a dinner Wednesday evening, with renowned
Asian expert Professor Robert A. Scalapino giving an address on
Asia: The Past Fifty Years and the Next Fifty Years.

At the dinner, CSIS will present the Distinguished Fellow of
CSIS award to several national and international academics. (mds)
