Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) has declared full operational readiness to support Indonesia’s population during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri celebrations. This commitment was reaffirmed during a Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H celebrations held at the Mutiara Auditorium STIK-PTIK Jakarta on 2 March, attended by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and relevant government agencies.

Pertamina Chief Executive Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri stated that through the Ramadan and Eid Task Force (Satgas RAFI) 2026, Pertamina will ensure every traveller has easy and comfortable access to energy both during their journey and at their destination.

“Our primary focus is providing peace of mind for the public. All of Pertamina’s operational facilities will operate 24 hours to guarantee the availability of fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, and aviation fuel remains stable amid heightened mobility,” Simon stated.

Based on historical data and cross-functional coordination, Pertamina projects a 12 per cent increase in petrol consumption, a 4 per cent increase in liquefied petroleum gas consumption, and a 2.8 per cent increase in aviation fuel consumption during this period, whilst diesel is expected to decline due to reduced heavy logistics activities. To accommodate these trends, Pertamina has strengthened national fuel reserves to an average level of 21 to 23 days as of 1 March 2026.

To enhance traveller comfort, Simon outlined four main service pillars specially prepared by Pertamina. First, energy services through strengthened availability of fuel, liquefied petroleum gas, and aviation fuel at all supply points with regular quality and quantity monitoring. Second, regional attention services focusing on toll routes, rest areas, airports, ports, and tourist areas experiencing heightened mobility.

Third, various Ramadan activities and promotional programmes through the MyPertamina digital service. Fourth, additional services including Serambi MyPertamina as a rest facility for travellers at strategic points equipped with supporting facilities such as fuel and liquefied petroleum gas pumps and emergency services.

“We have deployed 2,074 fuel stations operating 24 hours on main routes and high-traffic areas, 6,300 liquefied petroleum gas agents, and 200 tanker trucks positioned as backup supply. For areas without permanent fuel stations and tourist destinations, we have prepared 64 Pertamina Emergency Kiosks and modular services so the public does not need to worry about running out of fuel during their journey,” Simon added.
