Creative Economy Minister: DXI supports creative economy growth
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Bekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, stated that the organisation of the Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) 2026 adventure sports exhibition can support the growth of the creative economy, particularly in relation to the development of outdoor sports products.
“This is not just an exhibition, but a space for collaboration where innovation develops and the competitiveness of Indonesian creative products is strengthened,” he said, as quoted in a ministry press release on Saturday.
“DXI is a meeting point for the ecosystem. When the government, industry, communities, and all stakeholders collaborate, the creative economy will grow faster and more sustainably,” he added.
While attending the DXI 2026 exhibition at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) on Wednesday (23/4), he stated that platforms like DXI can encourage local brands to improve the quality and competitiveness of their products.
DXI 2026 features an exhibition of products and interaction spaces between industry players, communities, local brands, and consumers.
The event, attended by 137 exhibitors from domestic and international sources, opens opportunities for creative business actors to expand their market access at the international level.
Local brands such as Eiger, Hippo Campus, Madlife, Respiro, Kluk, and Java Sidemount showcased their outdoor activity support products at the annual event.
Dyandra Event Solution’s Executive Director, Rachadian Nashidik, stated that DXI provides opportunities to expand market reach for local creative product producers.
“Indonesia has many local creative products that can expand abroad, therefore we are present and want to work together with the government, especially the Ministry of Creative Economy, so that our products become better known to the world,” he said.
