I learned recently that the new price for an identity card has
been fixed at Rp 3000. My question is: How can villagers pay such
a high price for an identity card?

For the residents of Jakarta and other large cities such an
amount of money would not be a problem. But it would be too much
for the rural population. I hope the government reconsiders the
matter.
