Copyright pirates caught in KL
KUALA LUMPUR (AFP): A collapsing ceiling trapped two Malaysian
copyright pirates when enforcement officers raided a storeroom,
reports said Sunday.
The Star newspaper said the officers noticed a ceiling panel
bulging and about to cave in. When they checked they found that
more than 20,000 video compact discs had been hastily hidden
there.
The value of the pirated VCDs, seized Friday in the southern
city of Johor Baru, was put at almost 118,000 ringgit ($31,052).
Two people were detained.
