Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment Holds Nusantara Snack Trail Festival at GBK, with 40 MSMEs Participating
Jakarta — The Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment (Kemenko PM) is strengthening its strategy to empower micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through the Nusantara Snack Trail Festival, to be held from 6 to 8 March 2026 at the South-West Parking area of Gelora Bung Karno in Senayan. The programme focuses on opening market access and increasing the capacity of business actors. Leontinus Alpha Edison, Deputy for Community Economic Empowerment and Protection of Migrant Workers at the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment, stated that strengthening the MSME ecosystem is achieved through product curation and expanded market access. ‘The main focus of the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment is to strengthen the MSME ecosystem by opening broader market access through the curation of high-quality, competitive products,’ Leontinus said in a written statement on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. More than 40 curated MSME tenants will participate, presenting a range of Nusantara snacks. The festival also opens opportunities for business people who have not previously participated in bazaars to market their products directly to the public. ‘This effort also provides an opportunity for MSMEs that have not previously participated in bazaar or festival activities to market and introduce their products directly to the public,’ he added. In addition to product exhibitions, the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment will present the MSME Clinic and IP Clinic as free advisory services. The MSME Clinic provides consultations on legality, strengthens business management, and facilitates business development to give business actors a professional and sustainable foundation. The IP Clinic offers consultations and registration services for intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and industrial designs. Protecting works is considered important to increase product value while strengthening market confidence. Leontinus emphasised that empowering MSMEs requires cross-sector collaboration. ‘We believe that with solid synergy, the Nusantara Snack Trail can become a model of empowerment that not only drives the community’s economy but also strengthens the identity and pride in the nation’s products,’ he stated. On the final day, Sunday (8 March 2026), a 5-kilometre NgabubuRun will be held with Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment A. Muhaimin Iskandar, involving running communities and the public. The activity is expected to strengthen public participation while increasing visits to the MSME tenants.
