Cooking Oil Prices Rise Despite Falls in Shallots and Small Red Chillies, Check the List
Bank Indonesia (BI), through the National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), has reported that shallot prices stand at IDR 44,850 per kilogramme (kg), down IDR 500, and small red chilli prices at IDR 79,400 per kg, down IDR 4,350 per kg.
According to PIHPS data released in Jakarta, other retail-level food prices recorded nationwide include garlic at IDR 41,700 per kg.
Rice prices vary by quality grade: lower quality grade I at IDR 14,600 per kg, lower quality grade II at IDR 14,800 per kg, medium grade I at IDR 15,580 per kg, and medium grade II at IDR 15,800 per kg. Premium quality grade I rice is priced at IDR 17,000 per kg, and premium quality grade II at IDR 16,600 per kg.
PIHPS also recorded prices for large red chillies at IDR 43,400 per kg, curly red chillies at IDR 48,150 per kg, and small green chillies at IDR 53,400 per kg.
Poultry and beef prices include broiler chicken at IDR 41,700 per kg, beef quality grade I at IDR 141,100 per kg, and beef quality grade II at IDR 133,900 per kg.
Sugar prices are recorded as premium white sugar at IDR 19,650 per kg and local white sugar at IDR 18,700 per kg.
Cooking oil prices show mixed movements: bulk cooking oil reached IDR 19,200 per litre, up IDR 250, branded cooking oil grade I is at IDR 22,850 per litre, up IDR 150 per litre, whilst branded cooking oil grade II stands at IDR 21,850 per litre, down IDR 100 per litre.
Additionally, PIHPS recorded broiler chicken eggs at IDR 33,400 per kg.
