Transparency among public officials is once again under scrutiny after Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) discovered allegations that President Prabowo Subianto and dozens of cabinet members have not or have delayed submitting their State Organisers’ Wealth Reports (LHKPN). This finding was presented by ICW Advocacy Division member Yassar Aulia, based on an investigation of the official KPK e-LHKPN website. According to ICW, as of 1 April 2026—or one day after the 31 March 2026 deadline for the 2025 reporting period—there are indications that President Prabowo Subianto and 26 members of the Merah Putih Cabinet, consisting of 14 ministers and 12 deputy ministers, have not or have delayed reporting their assets. “Today, one day after the reporting deadline, President Prabowo Subianto, 14 ministers, and 12 deputy ministers are strongly indicated to have not reported or at least delayed submitting their LHKPN,” Yassar told reporters on Tuesday (1/4). ICW explained that this conclusion was reached through verification and data triangulation from various features on the e-LHKPN website, including the asset announcement page, high-ranking official compliance monitoring, and the list of mandatory reporters who have not or have incompletely reported. “From this investigation, we found that reports from dozens of cabinet members for the 2025 period were not found or fell into the ‘not reported’ category,” he said. If these findings prove true, ICW assesses that these officials could be in violation of LHKPN reporting provisions as regulated under Law No. 28 of 1999 and KPK Regulation No. 7 of 2016. Nevertheless, ICW also acknowledges the possibility that the website data has not yet been updated. Therefore, ICW urges the KPK to immediately provide clarification and open official data on officials’ compliance. “ICW urges the KPK to announce as soon as possible the names of cabinet members who have not or have delayed submitting their LHKPN,” Yassar emphasised. Furthermore, he stressed that this step is crucial to maintain the accuracy of public information and ensure that state organisers fulfil their transparency obligations. ICW also warns that if this issue is not promptly addressed, the LHKPN reporting obligation risks being viewed merely as an administrative formality. “If not done, we fear that LHKPN reporting will be taken lightly as just a formality,” he concluded.
