Communism still a danger

The communist uprising of the G.30.S/PKI launched 30 years ago
was barbarous. Days before the revolt, the Indonesian Communist
Party (PKI) showed a behavior which was contradictory to the
Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

The communists' provocative actions and terror together with
the actions of their subsidiary organizations like People's
Youth, Indonesian Women's Movement, Labor Association, Indonesian
Farmers Front, and many others, then served to destroy the unity
and integrity of the Indonesian nation.

It is true that many of the members of the Communist Party
were brought to military tribunal and sentenced to death. But
many were not arrested and are still at large. So we must be
vigilant against the remnants of the Communist Party. They are
trying to make a come back through disguised communism. The
remnants of the G.30.s/PKI are still a latent danger.
