Collaboration Between Property and Digital Asset Industries Drives Investment Literacy
Cryptocurrency investment platform PT Pintu Kemana Saja participated as a sponsor at the Grand Gathering of the Indonesian Boarding House Association (ARKI) in Yogyakarta. The event was attended by ARKI General Chair Florencia Irena Lipin, Founder of Learn Bitcoin Angga Andinata, and Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business at Pintu Andy Putra.
In his remarks, Andy stated that this collaboration created a discussion forum regarding the development of the boarding house industry and investment opportunities in the digital asset sector.
“We observe that ARKI members are very open and enthusiastic about learning how cryptocurrency asset investment works, including understanding its benefits and risks. We hope this cooperation can provide added value and comprehensive understanding of the digital asset industry,” he said.
As part of efforts to enhance digital financial literacy, the event also featured education on the fundamentals of cryptocurrency investment, risk management, and the importance of research before investing. This material was aimed at assisting boarding house operators in managing their rental income in a more diversified manner.
ARKI Chair Florencia Irena Lipin valued Pintu’s presence as providing a new perspective for boarding house business owners.
“Pintu’s participation in the ARKI event is a very positive and innovative step. We believe Pintu helps provide new insights for boarding house owners that rental profits can be managed more productively through digital assets,” said Florencia.
She also added that the financial technology approach opens opportunities for traditional property businesses to remain adaptive to technological developments. With the advancement of blockchain technology, the connection between the property sector and digital assets is becoming increasingly evident, including through the concept of property tokenisation.
Tokenisation enables the value of physical property to be represented in the form of digital tokens that can be traded on blockchain-based platforms, thus opening access to more flexible investment opportunities.
Data from the Deloitte Center for Financial Services shows that the property tokenisation market has the potential to grow from approximately USD 300 billion in 2024 to USD 4 trillion by 2035. This development reflects increasingly greater integration opportunities between the property industry and digital technology in the future.
“We hope that cross-industry collaborations like this can expand digital financial literacy and open asset diversification opportunities for boarding house entrepreneurs in Indonesia,” concluded Andy Putra.
