Coffee producers to Bali
LONDON (Reuter): The Association of Coffee Producing Countries
(ACPC) confirmed it would hold a meeting of its management
committee on Nov.27 in Bali.
Secretary-General Roberio Silva confirmed the date following
remarks earlier on Wednesday by Indonesian Minister of
Agriculture Sjarifudin Baharsjah.
Silva said the management committee comprised representatives
of Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Costa Rica,
El Salvador and Tanzania.
The ACPC is in the early stages of a programme to curb exports
to 60.4 million 60-kilo bags in the year to the end of June 1996.
