The Bogor Regency Civil Police (Satpol PP) conducted enforcement operations targeting illegal alcohol sellers in Sukaraja District. A total of 33 bottles of unlicensed spirits were confiscated from a small warung grocery store.

“The total amount of alcohol that was successfully seized was 33 bottles,” stated Rahma Kodara, Head of Order and Public Welfare at Bogor Regency’s Civil Police, to journalists on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.

The raid was conducted on the evening of Monday, 2 March, extending into the early morning hours. The operation was carried out pursuant to Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2025 and a Bogor Regent’s circular regarding public order maintenance.

“At the first location, officers visited a karaoke venue located inside a shopping mall,” she explained.

The karaoke establishment was found to be closed and not operating, in compliance with the circular directive requiring all night-time entertainment venues to cease operations during Ramadan.

“Officers reminded the employees to continue complying with government regulations and refrain from operating during the month of Ramadan,” she noted.

The raid proceeded to a second location, a small warung, where officers discovered dozens of bottles of illegal alcohol.

“Following an inspection of the warung, officers found spirits stored inside a refrigerator,” she stated.

“After the warung owner was unable to produce a licence for alcohol sales, officers immediately confiscated the alcohol and transported it to Bogor Regency’s Civil Police headquarters,” she concluded.
