CIMB Niaga Launches Digital Platform for Business Actors
CIMB Niaga has launched the Octobiz digital platform. Rusly Johannes, Director of Business Banking at CIMB Niaga, stated that the platform is designed to assist business actors in managing domestic and international business transactions more easily, efficiently, securely, and in an integrated manner.
According to Rusly, business actors today not only require ease in transacting but also need a platform that supports cash flow transparency, stronger financial management, and speed in decision-making.
“We are presenting this platform as a loyal companion and comprehensive solution for businesses in managing all their banking needs in a smarter and more productive way,” he said during the Octobiz launch event in Jakarta on Monday, 6 April 2026.
Rusly explained that Octobiz is designed as an integrated platform that enables business actors to manage all their business financial needs in one dashboard. Through Octobiz, customers can manage cash flow in an integrated manner—including viewing asset and liability values in real-time, conducting domestic and international transactions including cross-currency transfers without double conversion, executing large-scale payroll transactions, paying taxes and routine bills, managing liquidity through online deposit placements, and handling supply chain financing.
Joni Hermanto, Head of Transaction Banking at CIMB Niaga, added that since the soft launch in February 2026, the number of Octobiz users has reached 21,000 corporate customers. According to him, the number of Octobiz users increases by 2 per cent each month.
Joni stated that CIMB Niaga does not set a specific target for the number of Octobiz user customers. According to him, CIMB Niaga focuses more on the number of active customers. “We see that the customer growth we need is active ones, so we want to onboard active customers,” said Joni.
